The Three Sisters

The legend of the Three Sisters is perhaps the most interesting story heard from around this area. According to an Aboriginal dreamtime story, the three huge rocks formation were once three beautiful sisters named"Meehni", "Wimlah" and "Gunnedoo" from the Katoomba tribe. The three sisters fell in love with three brothers from the Nepean tribe but their tribal laws forbade their marriage.

The three brothers did not accept this law and tried to capture the three sisters by force. This caused a major tribal battle and the lives of the three sisters were thus threatened. A witchdoctor decided to turn the sisters into rocks in order to protect them and thought to reverse the spell only after the battle. Unfortunately, he was killed in the battle and the three sisters remained as the enormous and beautiful rock formations until today. The magnificent formation stands at 922m, 918m, and 906m respectively.

Anak abah,

abah tulis surat nih mase nko blom lahir lagik. abah pon kompius nak soh nko panggil abah ni abah ke ayah ke papa ke daddy ke...
tapi lantak la. abah bahasakan diri abah dulu la yerk,nak?
masa nko memula tumbuh lam perot mak nko nih ha. abah eksaited giler nko tau tak.
maklom la lame dah abah nunggu sejak abah pk yg abah takmo anak lagik takut abah nampak tua.

lagipon abah rase tak macho bila laki ensem yg gagah perkasa cam abah nih dukong anak hiks.=)
kadang bila mak nko montah pening loya nak itu,nak ini. abah rimas beno nko tau tak? abah rase nak sekeh jerk nko. rimas abah nko tau tak
hiks...

mak nko lak ngengade nak itu ini tengah malam merengek huh! kengkadang abah ngah tido kol 3 pagi mak nko soh abah pegi 7eleven beli asam kecot. walaupon 7 eleven 24 jam tapi abah sangat....arh tensen idop cenggitu. memula jerk abah leh layan lelama abah nyampah!

pastu masa nko dah besor sikit. perot mak nko pon besar gak. mase tulah mak nko ngidam benda merapu. dia nak abah bawak dia jalan je takmo dok umah. abah memang tensen nko tau tak...



abah rase ilang macho abah bawak pompuan ngandong perot besor. tapi tu tak bermakna abah takde sifat kebapaan. abah sangat rase syok gile bile mak nko ngandongkan nko. tapi tu arh cam abah cakap tadik. abah hambik masa sikit nak bagi nko idop lam perot mak nko untuk tempoh 9 bolan nih. nko pon dah nak lahir dah nih... abah redha jelah...

nebes dan eksaited abah makin bertambah.esok due date nko nak. adui la saspen seh abah gini! seblom nko kuar esok, abah tulis surat nih nak gitau nko bahawa kehadiran nko nih mendebarkan abah. abah giler cuak nih nak sambot nko esok... kalo bulih abah nak tunda sket kelahiran nko... minggu depan ker bolan depan ker... tahun depan ker... bulih tak nko kuar
lambat sket? abah cuak arh hiks...
